Frederick John Kasper Jr. was born in New Jersey on October 21, 1929. He was born to Frederick and Rose Kasper. He is the youngest of 2 children. He lived in a small town in Camden County, NJ.
He went to school in NJ until he hit high school then he attended school out of state. Then he attended college at Yankton and then Columbia. He got his degree out of Columbia. Yankton is in SD and Columbia in in NY. He really didn't like school, he didn't play any sports when he went to school.
He opened a bookstore in Greenwich Village in NY then he close up shop and took over another store in Washington, DC. He was a business kind of person. He had all kinds of books in his store.
